Today Gavin had his 4 week check-up with Dr. Williams. Looks like we have another quickly growing child on our hands. He now checks in at 11 pounds 4 ounces and 22 inches long! I knew he had filled out a little bit but I had no idea that he has passed his birth weight by almost 2 pounds and grown a full inch!

While Mommy was washing sheets on the beds today I decided to drag this foam pad into the living room to play on. It's kind of nice having Mommy stuck on the couch feeding my baby brother. Now I can get into all kinds of stuff!

Yesterday Chris decided to bring Devin home some bubble wrap from work. Needless to say the simplest things are the best entertainment!

The other night while Devin was playing with his PlayDough I decided to sit at the table and fod towels. Devin quickly lost interst in PlayDough and decided he would rather just hug the warm towels. So much for my bright idea of multi-tasking.

1 Week Old

We're so happy to have been blessed with another little (or should we say big) boy. Things are a little crazy around here and we're trying to get some kind of routine established although I'm pretty sure that won't happen for a few months. Gavin thinks he needs to be held most of the day and is battling some gas issues making the evening a little difficult.

Devin is adjusting pretty well. At first he pretty much ignored Gavin's existance and now he's getting more interactive with him. Just this morning Gavin was crying in his crib and when I took him out Devin was acting like he wanted to hold him. I put him down to Devin's level and he gave him a hug. I thought it was pretty sweet.

As time goes on I'm sure things will get back to normal around here.....but until then I think I'll be glad to just get a shower and everyone fed and diapers changed every day.
